旧渋澤倉庫

建築年：明治28（1895）年

構造：木骨石造

運河北部寄りの倉庫群のひとつ。大きな切妻屋根を架けた本体の前面に2棟の角屋が突き出る変わった形をしています。向かって右手が一番古く明治28年に建てられた棟。その後左棟を並べて建て、次いで2棟をあわせた大屋根を架けて、今の姿になったといわれます。

The Former Shibusawa Warehouse

One of a cluster of warehouses situated more toward the northern side of the canal area, this warehouse features a large gabled roof in the front that gives way to two projected wings. The wing on the right hand side is the older of the two, having been constructed in 1895. It is said that left wing was built later on and connected with a large roof, giving the building its current appearance.
