旧久保商店

建築年：明治40（1907）年

構造：木造

この建物は、小間物雑貨卸を営む久保商店の店舗として建てられました。
現在は、和風商店の趣を残しながら喫茶店に再利用されていて、堺町通りの歴史的景観を形成する主要な建物になっています。久保商店時の写真によれば、道路側の下屋は母屋から蔵（木骨石造）まで一体に続き、蔵は前後に2棟並んでいて、母屋の1階は店先として開放できる引戸が入っていました。

The Former Kubo Store

This building was originally constructed as a shop for the Kubo Store, a purveyor of sundries and miscellaneous items.
Currently, a coffee shop that maintains the elegance of a Japanese style store occupies the building, making it one of the primary structures sustaining the historic atmosphere along Sakai-machi Dori Avenue. According to pictures taken when the Kubo Store occupied the building, an over hang spanned from the main building to the storehouse, with ridges in front of and behind the storehouse and featured an openinf sliding door that served as the storefront on the floor of the main building.
