旧小樽組合基督協会

建築年：大正15（1926）年

構造：木造

この建物は、公園通りの景観に魅力を添える教会で、2階礼拝堂への階段塔が角地を強調しています。尖頭アーチや装飾アーチ帯などでゴジック風にデザインされています。玄関アーチは昭和47（1972）年の改修で形態を変え、3連アーチとなっています。設計者は成田幸一郎、施工者は高橋権次で、いずれも地元の手によるものです。

The Former Otaru Congregation Church

This church,with a  stair tower leading to the second story sanctuary that emphasizes its corner lot, adds to the attractive ambiance of Koen Dori Avenue. The steeple arch and a series of decorative arches are designed in a gothic style. The shape of the entranceway arch was altered in 1972 and now comprises three layered arches. Designed by Koichiro Narita and built by Gonji Takahashi, both Otaru natives, the building is truly a local creation.
