旧中越銀行小樽支店

建築年：大正13（1924）年

構造：鉄筋コンクリート造

創建の頃、この周辺は入船川の河口（現在は暗渠）であり、海側に船入澗が開け、複数の道路が交わり、交通の要になっていました。

昭和18（1943）年に合併して北陸銀行となり、同38（1963）年に南小樽支店に改称されています。

外壁はモルタル仕上げで、2階窓列の壁に褐色のタイルを張り、その上に雷文の模様を一列に並べてアクセントをつけています。

The Former Otaru Branch of Chuetsu Bank

Structure:Reinforced Concrete

At the time of its construction,the area around this bank was at the mouth of the Irifune River (currently a drainage culvert). Ships would berth on the ocean side and several streets came together to make a pivotal transportation point. The bank merged to become Hokuriku Bank in 1943 and changed its branch name to Minami Otaru in 1963. The building features a mortar finished exterior and brown tiling on the second floor walls accepted with a row of fretted tile work above.
