小樽市指定歴史的建造物

旧花園町会館

建築年：昭和2（1927）年

構造：木造

会館の維持管理は、周辺の6町内会が出資する有限会社でおこなっています。外観正面は、左右対称のデザインとなっています。縦長の正面は、マンサード屋根のつく玄関から2階上部小屋裏の窓上まで、変化のある形が並び、切妻の三角屋根をのせています。設計者は地元小樽の萩原米治郎です。平成12年に外壁や屋根などの補修工事が施されています。

The Former Hanazono Town Assenbly Hall

Maintained and operated by a limited liability corporation formed from contributions of the six surrounding neighborhood associations, the front exterior of this hall has a symmetrical design. Designed by Otaru native Yonejiro Hagiwara, the elongated facade extends from the entrance with its attached mansard roof to arc over the window on the upper part of the second floor where a triangular gabled peaked rood rests. The exterior walls and roof were restored in 2000.
